Post WW1 houses in Station Road. Photo taken looking south from Foxdown, showing farm land in the foreground and at the back of the houses looking out on to Overton Hill. The water in the middle is the paper mills settlement lagoons. They are still in use today (2015) but the fields are gone. In the middle distance can just be seen the fire station and Lambs Close. These do not appear on the 1961 OS map so possibly were built later in the 1960’s.
