It took some time to complete the job but the finished roof looked quite spectacular when I revisited in the following March. I saw from his board on site that the Master Thatcher was Jason Morley. I looked him up on the internet and was not surprised to see that he and his team of experts have won lots of awards. In particular, I was pleased to note that he won “Best Thatch Cottage Winner 2008/2009” for the Freefolk Manor Cottages.
