Wake’s Store about 1922. It was built on the front of the old St Mary’s Hall which George Wake bought from the church for £100 in 1915. Boy on L Bernard Wake (Bonnie); next to him Bessie Wake and Joan Switzer; standing in doorway on L Batrice Wake;next to her Vera Wake; in front L to R, Jean Switzer, Christine Burgess and Edith Wake . The Wakes moved from 4 Bridge Street where they ran a shop and sold coal.
