An early photo of Overton Recreation Centre premises at Town Meadow. Colonel and Mrs Hoare of Southington House granted a lease on Town Meadow in 1973 and gave their agreement for the erection of a building which was completed in 1975. This included facilities for the Scouts and Guides.
