This map, also from Bob Reid, shows that in the previous 15 years there had been virtually no new buildings.
In 1911 There were 360 dwellings in Overton parish housing 1570 people. From 1214 that is a growth rate of 1 dwelling every 2 years. By 2014, there were 1885 dwellings with 4315 people. That is a growth rate of 15 dwellings each year. And the politicians and developers are planning to present us with 270 more houses (or possibly 540?) in the next 15 years; an average of 18 (or 36?) each year.
