Children leaving the old school for the last time. The 94 children, Department Head Mrs Doreen Newton, and teachers Mrs Linda Creaven and Miss Margaret Goodall moved up to the main primary school at Lordsfield.
After the closure, Hampshire County Council rented the building to the Overton Community Association and the building was renamed the Overton Community Centre. There is a gallery for the Community Centre in “Overton Halls”.
