Bridge Street in 1907. The sign reads T.H.DEAR REGISTERED SHOEING SMITH. The cart appears to have sacks of coal on it. This property is now numbered 8A. To the left , with gates open is now no.14. Standing in the doorway of no. 4 on the right are Beatrice and Ernest Wake. The Wake family ran a shop here and sold coal before moving to St Mary’s hall in 1915.
