There has been life on Earth for about 600 million years but man has been here for a tiny part of that time. Pictured above are 3 examples of flint flakes found at Little Meadow. Thanks to Paul Brooker of Thetford, we can say that they are man made. A fair description would be late prehistoric struck flint flakes, maybe Bronze age – 2,200BC to 700BC.
