Tom is shown here c. 1922 with the second of his 4 children, Robert Purdue Readings. The picture is taken at Tom’s Horsell home where he lived until his death in 1954. Robert was born in Bournemouth, married Daisy Phillips in 1918, and died in 1944 at the age of 54. Peter Readings was his only child. We are grateful to Peter for providing most of the information in this gallery and very impressed with his mastery of scanning photos and making email attachments – at the age of 92 years.
