Marion Holmes nee Garrett – married to Paul Holmes for almost 40 years – died 1992 aged 62. Marion was a piano teacher for all her adult life and was much loved by many of the people of Overton. She was Bell Captain at St Mary’s for one year and church organist for evensong in her latter years
