1964 – The top part of Kingsclere Road – At the bottom left corner is Foxdown Farm House , former home of the Annells family. Moving up the hill on the left is a house that was demolished and the site redeveloped. The close at the top is Hill Meadow. Bottom right shows part of “The Chalets” – temporary accommodation for Bank of England Workers during WW2 – later used as council housing – now demolished and the site is part of the Foxdown redevelopment
